I found the BBC News article about documentary filmed in Hebden Bridge.
"Shed Your Tears and Walk Away". I want to watch it soon.

It might be negative side in Hebden Bridge though, there is also positive side.
I believe my kids can see and learn both good and bad.
We have really good environment to bring up kids here.

Life in the UK: Happy anniversary

I and my wife went to nice pub, White Lion to celebrate our wedding anniversary at around lunch time.
Our friend babysat our kids so just me and my wife!
We enjoyed nice meal in peace. We stayed there for a couple of hours but I felt longer.
Wonder when we can go out without kids next time...

Life in the UK: New recipe

I tried new recipe.
Roast chicken marinated with grated garlic, fresh ginger, tomato puree, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, yoghurt, lemon and salt.

Loved it!
Nice food with my family. Happy time! :)

UKビザの更新はまだ来年夏の話ですが、更新要件をざっと見た感じLife in the UK testは早めにパスしといても良さそうなんで勉強開始しようかと下記教材を購入してみました。



媒体としてはCDのみですが、公式テキスト（Life in the United Kingdom: A Journey to Citizenship - 2nd Edition (2007)）もまるごと入っており（Windows PCのみ対応、印刷可）、レビューもまぁまぁ良く、値段も手頃かと。
テキストは印刷すると結構な量なので、PDFファイルとして出力し、Kindleで読めるようにしました。
この教材を使った感想は後ほど。

イギリスでの生活：Hebden Bridgeでの生活開始

子育て環境、および娘の学校のことを考えてHebden Bridgeに引っ越しました。
やっと通りの喧騒から解放され静かな週末を過ごすことができています。
娘も新しい保育園にもすっかり慣れ、以前通っていた保育園ではなかったような成長をみせてくれています。これも環境のせい！？
この町は自然や自由がウリだそうで。家族全員気に入っております。
