Herb growing in a small pot for family fun

Started to grow baby leaf in a small pot.
This is first time to grow herb so don't know what to do though...first leaf came out!
My 3 years old daughter is wartering it every day. She just loves it and excited to see its growth. :)

Now getting interested in growing something in small spaces.
